This Generator Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is between Power Tech Generators ("Owner") and the Customer ("Renter") for temporary generator rental.
1. RENTAL EQUIPMENT

- Includes: Generator unit + standard cables + fuel tank (if agreed)
- Condition: Fully serviced and tested before delivery

3. SECURITY DEPOSIT
🔒 SECURITY MEASURES
- Security Deposit: PKR 50,000 - 200,000 (depending on generator size)
- Refundable: 100% refunded after safe return and inspection
- Deduction Conditions: Damage, loss, unauthorized repairs, missing parts
- Deposit Refund Time: Within 48 hours of equipment return
- CNIC Copy Required: For identity verification
4. RENTER'S RESPONSIBILITIES (SAFETY)
- ✅ Provide secure, covered location with roof/weather protection
- ✅ Ensure proper ventilation for exhaust gases
- ✅ Maintain correct fuel and oil levels daily
- ✅ Use only high-quality diesel fuel (no mixed/contaminated fuel)
- ✅ Lock and secure generator when unattended
- ✅ Report any issues immediately (0322 3619827)
- ✅ Allow Owner's technician inspection access anytime
5. PROHIBITED ACTIONS
⛔ STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- ❌ Tampering with, opening, or modifying equipment
- ❌ Subletting or lending to third parties
- ❌ Moving generator without Owner's permission
- ❌ Overloading beyond rated KVA capacity
- ❌ Using contaminated or mixed fuel
- ❌ Unauthorized repairs by third-party mechanics
- ❌ Removing identification plates or stickers
6. MAINTENANCE DURING RENTAL
- Owner provides routine maintenance at scheduled intervals
- Renter must notify Owner when service is due
- Emergency breakdowns: Owner repairs within 2-4 hours (Karachi)
- Renter pays for damage caused by negligence or misuse
7. INSURANCE & LIABILITY
- Generator is insured by Owner for natural events
- Renter is liable for: theft, vandalism, accident damage, negligence
- In case of theft: Renter pays full market value of generator
- Maximum liability: Equipment replacement cost
8. DELIVERY & COLLECTION
- Free delivery & collection within Karachi city limits
- Outside Karachi: Transport charges apply (agreed in advance)
- Renter must provide clear access path
- Equipment must be ready for collection on end date/time
9. EXTENSION & EARLY TERMINATION
- Extension: Request 48 hours before end date (subject to availability)
- Early Return: Minimum 50% of agreed rental period charged
- Owner's Right: Can terminate with 24 hours notice if terms violated
10. CANCELLATION & REFUND

- 48+ hours before delivery: Full refund
- 24-48 hours before delivery: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours: No refund
- Weather cancellation: Reschedule at no extra cost
